Why A Rape Victim Was Euthanized

A SEXUAL ABUSE VICTIM IN THE
NETHERLANDS HAS A BEEN ALLOWED TO HAVE DR. ASSISTED
SUICIDE BECAUSE HER POST GENETIC STRESS DISORDER WAS SO
SEVERE THAT DOCTORS IN THE NETHERLANDS DID NOT BELIEVE THAT
SHE WAS TREATABLE ANY LONGER. SHE WAS IN HER 20S. SHE WAS EUTHANIZED USING A
LETHAL INJECTION AFTER HER DOCTORS DETERMINED THAT THE
POSTER MEDIC SYMPTOMS SHE SUFFERED AS A RESULT OF
CHILDHOOD SEXUAL ABUSE WERE UNBEARABLE. SHE SUFFERED FROM SEVERE
ANOREXIA, CAR DEPRESSION, HALLUCINATIONS, COMPULSIONS. SHE DID NOT ONLY GO TO ONE
DOCTOR, SHE WENT TO SEVERAL DOCTORS WHO ALL CAME TO THE SAME
CONCLUSION, WHICH IS WHY IN THE NETHERLANDS THEY ALLOWED HER
TO UNDERGO DR. ASSISTED SUICIDE. THERE ARE PSYCHIATRISTS AND
PSYCHOLOGISTS IN THE UNITED STATES WHO DID A GREAT WITH THIS
AND THEY SAY, LOOK, THIS WOMAN WAS BRUTALLY RAPED BETWEEN
THE AGES OF 15 AND ñ I’M SORRY, FIVE AND 15,
JESUS CHRIST, AND WHEN YOU GO THROUGH SOMETHING THAT TRAUMATIC
DURING HER FORMATIVE YEARS IT’S MUCH MORE DIFFICULT TO
TREAT YOU. IT’S TAKES LONGER, IT’S MORE
CHALLENGING. BUT THAT’S NOT TO SAY THAT YOU
ARE INCURABLE OR THAT YOU CAN’T GET BETTER. SO THEY DISAGREE BECAUSE THEY
THINK THAT YOU CAN HELP. IT’S A LOT HARDER WITH A YOUNG
VICTIM, BUT YOU CAN DO SOMETHING TO SAY THAT PERSON’S
LIFE. YEAH, I DON’T AGREE. I THINK IT IS A HARD QUESTION
THOUGH. SO I DON’T AGREE WITH THE
NETHERLANDS, NOT THE AMERICAN PSYCHOLOGISTS. SO, LOOK THE REASON IT’S A HARD
CASE IS BECAUSE I BELIEVE THAT YOU CAN DO WHATEVER YOU
WANT WITH YOUR BODY. SO I ACTUALLY BELIEVE IN LIBERTY
AND FREEDOM, ALL THE THINGS THAT LIBERTARIANS OFTEN TALK
ABOUT, AND I THINK A LOT OF THEM ACTUALLY AGREE WITH. AND SO, IF SHE WANTS COMMIT
SUICIDE, SHE CAN JUMP IN FRONT OF A TRAIN, DUMP OFF A
CLIFF, ALL THESE DIFFERENT THINGS, AND WHO AM I TO JUDGE
WHETHER HER PAIN IS AVAILABLE OR UNBEARABLE AND MAKE
THAT DECISION FOR HER? I SHOULD HAVE ALMOST NOTHING TO
DO WITH IT, SO I’M FOR THE FREEDOM TO DO ANYTHING SHE
WANTS, INCLUDING THIS. AND I DON’T HAVE ANY MORALITY
ATTACHED TO THIS, SO IF YOU ATTACH MORALITY TO IT IT’S ONLY
BECAUSE OF SOME OLD DOGMA THAT YOU GOT FROM SOME APOLOGY,
BECAUSE IN REALITY IF YOU LOOK AT WHAT REAL MORALITY IS,
IT’S HOW WE TREAT ONE ANOTHER. SHE’S NOT AFFECTING ANYONE ELSE,
SO IT’S HER BUSINESS ON OUR BUSINESS. I KNOW THAT HER FAMILY IS, I’M
SURE, HURT BY IT, BUT THAT’S BETWEEN THEM. WE AS THE GOVERNMENT SHOULD HAVE
NOTHING TO DO WITH IT. NOW, ON THE OTHER HAND, I REFUSE
TO BELIEVE THAT A MENTAL CONDITION IS QUOTE INCURABLE. PARTLY ñ NOT BECAUSE I’M AN
OPTIMIST, IT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH MY BELIEFS, IT HAS TO DO
WITH THE FACT THAT THERAPISTS ñ FIRST OF ALL, TOTALLY HAVE A
VARIANCE OF OPINION ON THIS ñ AND OFTEN TIMES YOU TO FIND
THE RIGHT THERAPIST FOR YOU. YOU MIGHT BE A GOOD THERAPIST
BUT NOT THE RIGHT MATCH FOR YOU. SO YES, SHE MIGHT HAVE GOT A
TWO, THREE, OR HOW MANY SHE DID, BUT IT’S ENTIRELY POSSIBLE
THAT SHE WOULD HAVE FOUND A THERAPIST THAT WAS BETTER FOR
HER IN SOME WAY. SHE MIGHT HAVE FOUND MEDICATION
THAT WAS BETTER FOR. YOU MIGHT BE POSSIBLE THAT IT
WAS IN A YEAR, BUT IN 20 YEARS THAT SHE GOT BETTER. BUT THEN I GO BACK TO, IT’S NOT
MY BUSINESS TO TELL HER TO BEAR THROUGH TERRIBLE PAIN,
EMOTIONALLY, PSYCHOLOGICALLY, ETC., FOR 20 YEARS ON THE HOPE THAT
YOU MIGHT GET BETTER. SO IN THE END, YES I AGREE THAT
SHE SHOULD BE ABLE TO DO ASSISTED SUICIDE BECAUSE I THINK
THAT THAT IS AN ULTIMATE RIGHT THAT SHE HAS THAT I CAN’T
ARGUE WITH, BUT I WISH SHE HADN’T DONE IT BECAUSE I FEEL
LIKE, IN A SITUATION LIKE THIS IT IS NOT TERMINAL AND THAT
THERE IS HOPE. I ACTUALLY AGREE WITH YOU 100%. I THINK IT IS YOUR BODY AND YOU
SHOULD DECIDE WHAT YOU WANT TO DO WITH YOUR BODY, AND THE
GOVERNMENT SHOULDN’T COME IN AND TELL YOU, NO YOU ARE NOT
ALLOWED TO KILL YOURSELF. THAT DOESN’T REALLY MAKE SENSE. IT’S YOUR BODY AND ARE NOT
REALLY HARMING ANYONE ELSE, YOU’RE HARMING YOURSELF. THAT SAID, THE ARGUMENT AGAINST
THE DR. ASSISTED SUICIDE IN THIS CASE IS, SHE DOESN’T HAVE A
TERMINAL ILLNESS. BUT IF YOU HAVE SEVERE ANOREXIA
THAT, YOU KNOW, PSYCHOLOGISTS CAN’T CURE, THEN YOU KIND OF DO
HAVE A TERMINAL ILLNESS, BECAUSE YOU ARE EVENTUALLY GOING
TO DIE FOR YOUR ANOREXIA. BUT OTHER THAN THAT, EVEN IF YOU
DON’T WANT TO GET INTO THE NUANCE OF THINGS THAT COULD
KILL HER, IT’S HER BODY, SHE GETS TO MAKE THE DECISION, BUT I
DO DISAGREE THAT IT’S INCURABLE. MAYBE IT IS “UNCOMFORTABLE,” BUT
IT’S NOT UNTREATABLE. MY BEST FRIEND IS A THERAPIST. I CALLED HER AND HAD A REAL
LONG CONVERSATION ABOUT THIS BECAUSE I WANTED TO GET HER
THOUGHTS. SHE’S LIKE, LOOK, IT’S REALLY
HARD TO TREAT A PATIENT LIKE THIS AND YOU HAVE TO MAKE
SURE THAT YOU PAIR UP WITH THE RIGHT THERAPIST, THAT’S ANOTHER
VERY DIFFICULT HILL TO CLIMB. BUT TO SAY THAT, YOU KNOW,
SOMEONE IS A LOST CAUSE IS JUST INCORRECT. YEAH, I FEEL LIKE, IN A SENSE,
THEY ALL GAVE UP ON HER, AND THAT’S WHAT KIND OF BREAKS
HER HEART. BUT LIKE WE SAID, IT’S NOT OUR
DECISION TO MAKE. IF SHE MADE THAT DECISION FOR
HERSELF, WE’RE NOT IN HER SHOES, WE DIDN’T GO THROUGH THAT
PAIN FOR AS LONG AS SHE DID. AND REMEMBER, SHE WAS ABUSED FOR
10 YEARS, FROM FIVE TO THE AGE OF
15. ANOTHER GOOD POINT HERE IS,
ADULTS CAN ACTUALLY TAKE ABUSE A LITTLE BETTER BECAUSE THEY’VE
ALREADY DEVELOPED THEIR MENTAL CORE. BUT FOR KIDS WHO ARE YOUNG, THEY
HAVE NOT DEVELOPED IT, AND THAT TRAUMA BECOMES PART OF
THEIR MENTAL CORE. OR IT CAN IN SOME CASES, AND
IN SOME CASES IT CAN BE EXTREME LIKE THIS. THAT’S WHY THE SEXUAL ABUSE
OF KIDS IS JUST EVEN MORE HORRIFIC THAN YOU MIGHT IMAGINE,
AND WE ARTY IMAGINED IT WAS THE WORST OF THE WORST. IT SOMETIMES LITERALLY RUINS
THEIR PSYCHOLOGY FOR THE REST OF THEIR LIVES.

  1. I wish she would it have a chance of happiness in this life..so horrible and sad that she was hurt so much in life.. I t was her choice, I agreed; just hope someone would it really helped her to be happy at least for once….

  2. Mental conditions can be incurable. It's not just about therapy. 20 years is too long to suffer.
I am disabled. I depend on others for almost everything. I'm a drain on society while contributing nothing. I have tried to commit suicide, but all the very humane ways have been undermined. I'm left with only very violent ways of ending my life, which would traumatize someone who found me.
I'm not going to get better, in fact I lose function every year. I wish we weren't so moralistic about suicide. I wish we were all pro life, not pro-heartbeat.
I'm not living if I never leave my house, am tormented by memories of abuse and of my own wrongdoings. The only people I see are my adult daughter and my therapist.
This is not living, it's waiting to die… my mental illness doesn't make me stupid or insensate. I know what I think, how I feel, and that I want it to be over.

  3. She got the right option. Her life is complete misery. She needs to end her life, so she can be at peace. Euthanasia is compassion. It's the only proven solution. It's love. It's the best thing to do presently with chronic and incurable psychological disorders.

  4. "It almost sends the message that if you are the victim of abuse, and as a result you get a mental illness, you are punished by being killed, that the punishment for the crime of being a victim is death," one UK politician said.” BULL%#$^^ that is not the message it sends! To her it was not a PUNISHMENT! it was a BLESSING!!!!

  5. goes against the hippocratic oath.. "do no harm"… there are other therapies, also controversial, that can target and erase traumatic memories. These should be offered instead.

  6. I have a degenerative disease and am facing this decision. Unfortunately, the US doesn’t allow me to have a peaceful death. That’s wrong.

  7. She could not find peace in her mind in life she had the right to decide enough is enough .If you do not get any pleasure from life there is no life rest in peace

  8. They didn't give up on her, they let her make her own decision on what she wished to do, and gave support of her choice, despite how they might feel. I personally find that commendable. They didn't let their own personal bias' stand in the way of her own choice for her own body and life.

  9. Now that's ridiculous. . The poor girl, I feel so terrible for the girl.. but cmon, this story is the anti euthanasia movements wet dream.. I can hear them now.. "see , see!.they're out to kill..anyone who is handicapped in any way.. rather than helping them.."… they'll use a story like this, to hurt sick suffering , people who have no hope..for any kind of quality of life.. and those people will suffer, as the result.. my heart goes out to the poor girl, most of all at this point, but psychology needs to advance .. as regular medicine does, people shouldn't have to be be in the position of death or aject incurable misery.. under any circumstances.. it's barbaric.. and cruel.. but just saying ah, why put off the inevitable , let's just let her die.. for a severe emotional and psychological condition, and the distress it imposed upon her.. is bad medicine , to say the very least.. there had to have been some way of helping that poor child, unless there were issues that were undescussed that weren't mentioned in the story.. either way it's a terrible empty loss..

  10. She was a mentally ill person already before been raped and was used by the Dutch goverment to promote euthanasia as an "ethical moral" choice to get away with the systematic killing of unborn babies, elderly, and many other vulnerable group that are murdered yearly in The Netherlands.

There many cases of women and even men been raped for years even decades by family members who do sane choices which is to live and face the enemy, but as I said before she was nothing you can call sane. Which is not criminalizing the victim she was just mentally unable to make a sane choice.

  11. I honestly don't know what to think of this. I feel.such deep pity for this poor girl. But was her illness truly incurable? Having mental illness, I know personally that medicine and therapy gave me my life back.

  12. I was wondering when this was going come up. Killing the mentally ill? How many undesirables need to die before we find out they were murdered?

  13. We cannot allow this.
    I've considered it myself.
However, giving abusers hell on behalf of others who did not survive seems better.
What burns me up is this attitude of abuse the abused….. It's unethical to punish the victims.
Bet her abuser was never punished. That's what kills your soul. Knowing the monster goes free while we live with a life sentence.
Pull a Lysistrata till abuse, rape and child trafficking stops.
It's hypocritical to allow this when we are appallingly bad at helping survivors.
Even our language is stilted towards abusers

  14. To Cenk’s last statement, can you please clarify that abuse in children ruins their psychology for the rest of their lives IF IT GOES UNTREATED. I was abused as a child also and hearing that it permanently changes and ruins your brain kept me from looking for help, I thought I was hopeless. I recently started seeing a therapist and taking antidepressants and it has changed my life for the better, my therapist explained that just like abuse can change the way your brain processes things like stress. You can also work towards changing it back to a more healthy state.

  15. Cenk while I am not against suicide in certain situations your response was careless. You said that it's okay because it doesn't affect anyone else but your suggestions do affect other people. How do you think a train conductor or bus driver is going to feel after someone deliberately jumps in front of their moving vehicle, now you've messed them up for life.

  16. What that young woman went through was horrific, I am heartbroken everytime I hear about a child being sexually abused.
Knowing that she wanted to die because she cannot live with what happened to her she should have tortured, named and killed her abusers before taking her own life!

  17. Alright look you two (from what I know) have never been victims of sexual abuse or trauma. So here’s the thing from someone who has. I know we like to assume that everyone can heal from sexual abuse and mental illness but the fact of the matter is not everyone can. Some people no matter the type of therapy never get better and feeding them false hope just prolongs their suffering. I say this as a person with PTSD from sexual trauma. I have been in therapy for years and that’s got to be a drain on the health care system and society. I am literally contributing nothing to society because my PTSD keeps me from doing the most basic things. You’re gonna tell me that throwing money and drugs and therapy at me until I give up of my own accord and commit suicide is a better way to live my life? How tf is that productive. The government gets to tell me that even though I have gone through years of therapy and medications and all that shit that they get the right to tell me and my doctors when I can die? I’m not saying I’m suicidal by the way I still work super hard every year to try and make the most of my life but I have thought about it. Where does the government have the right to force me to stay alive? Or file criminal charges against doctors who took an oath to do no harm. Because clearly the harm is keeping me alive in this endless cycle of not getting better. But no the US government thinks that it’s wrong to allow me to have doctors help me stop suffering.

  18. This should've been the RAPIST going through all this and being put through death..Yet they never care and seem to be fine..just monsters. SICK

  19. No no this is not right. If this is truly accurate that this news is correct we cannot allow evil people after we live through the traumatic event to kill us again. If that is truly the case I don't like an eye for an eye but the person that did this to her need to be sentenced to the fullest extent of the law. No she should not have died and I don't like that the doctors have unilaterally allowed her to die and helped her. This is truly a bleak day for medical practice doctors are to do no harm and this is a universal oh that has not been upheld. I'm getting quite emotional right now so I'm going to desist from writing …..Thank you

  20. Psychologist are always changing their definitions of conditions and are obsessed with curing people. Being homosexual was considered a mental defect. The trouble with the cure mentality it prevents you from looking at how to live with a condition. She had a life long condition, it would never be cured but she could have eventually found a way to manage and live a more peaceful life. There is something disturbing about allowing people who have acute mental illness to make life or death choices based on the idea of not being cured.

  21. if a person makes the choice to kill themselves I feel like it's their choice. doesn't matter their reasoning, it's their life. but that's just my opinion. I know that if I were ever diagnosed with Alzheimer's I would kill myself. why not offer a humane way to do it.

  22. Perfect, now an entire (and supposedly socially "advanced") country can tell rape victims that they're "damaged goods" and that they should just die. Sounds kinda rapey don't you think?

  23. So in the end…..the Dutch doctors were complicit in covering up a violent rape. That's how I read it.
And both Young Turks shut up about your morality statement. Giving her a choice in suicide and being okay with it very well might have other disastrous results. For example what if young children witness this terrible thing??
That HARMs other people Stupid Turks!!!

  24. What drugs did they to treat her? I had suffered severve depression before.Sometimes in and out. I lost an aunt to suicide because of depression .I am so sorry she suffered.I am also sorry for the family.Maybe electro shock could have helped.I have heard of this helping patients with severve symtoms such as these. Also pysychodelic mushrooms that are sometimes given to treat cluster head aches .

  25. Raped between 5 and 15???
And listen to the whiney sjws in this country crying about some guy saying hi is assault…
This is a horrible story and feel terrible and unbelievably pissed that no one intervened on this child's behalf while she was being abused so it didnt get to this point.

  26. This is a fntastic news. It is obvious that a raped life of a female life of a raped female has no value left at all, hoch leaves them with only two options – suicide or assisted suicide. The vast majority of raped females already suffer from suicidal thoughts and tendencies, with some of them actually removing themselves for eternal rest. The only problem is that some of the raped females may find it too terrifying to commit suicide, and unfortunately they fail to execute it, even if they do want to end their valueless life. By applying assisted suicide to raped females, we can help them get out of their endless misery, suffering and trauma, and take them to a place that no longer gives them any pain. fail The . Euthanasia – the only solution that can actually hep raped females. We must do this much more often.

  27. If this poor woman's suffering was so great after going through such a horrific ordeal I support hers and the doctors decision to end her suffering. I can't begin to imagine what it must of been like.

  28. Dyeing isent going to stop the fact that it happend I know she diddent want it to happen that bad to die she must have not been ok living alone or nothing it's to bad the doctors couldn't give her a pill to erase it from her memory the majority of her time I know it's horrible when it's someone real UGLY you hate it's the devil who wants people to suffer that bad

  29. "A mental condition is never incurable!" – So narcissism is curable? Psychopathy is curable? Don't come at me with the 'that's different' bullshit, because it's not. It's a faulty behaviour in the brain that can't be cured. Depression too, can shape the brain so much it can't go back to it's former state.

  30. They practice all this shit on animals first. Humanity has no compassion, they just want the problems to go away.

  31. those sick people abused her from the age of five . why didn't some one get her out of there in the first time when people suspected abuse and put her in a safe place and home and charge the people who did it to her with that and sent to PRISON for life . hey girl. say hi to my parents up there in heaven and that I'm still making them proud of me

  32. Agree with her or not, it WAS HER CHOICE. A choice she could make because it's legal. Under a law that's REALLY STRICT. Meaning most of the time, the request is denied.

  33. Yeah, jump in front of a train, that's not traumatizing for the people watching or the person driving the train. Much better than having a doctor who is trained in this, who with many other doctors, the girl and her loved ones came to a conclusion over 7 years that it's not right to force her to live on. And when it's clear this person will kill themselves without help, withholding help is cruel.

  34. first ana you know you are the cutest woman in news, that said, I have been in treatment for 26 years, before that off and on for years. been in mental institutions 7 times and am 61 years old. also cent is also right treatment works. medicine works. I got 2 motorcycles and own a home. came up homeless and penny less, it works but it takes both to work it. it don't come easy. Michael, thx.

  35. It will be so much more profitfull to charge people with obligatory health issurance, and when people get sick deny them, treatment to force them to ask for Euthanasia, That is how its going to be, No issurance should be obligatory!!!

  36. It does take a long time to get over being raped at such a young age. I’m still trying to get over it. I was 5 went to 13. Yes I did report it but I was threatened by my step father, he would kill my mom. I’m 43, have nightmares. Meds don’t always work. He says “20 years and find different therapists.”
Do u know how much $ it costs? Sigh. I wish she could’ve found a better way, but she’s at peace.

  37. The scariest thing is that I'm going trough a similar case and reconsidering the euthanasia choice. Is so scarry yet seems the only painless choice. So scarry

  38. my daughter worst more than this case. But I can not help her, she suffered from 5 and half years old to 15, now her life has nothing. But i don't know how can put my husband in jail. Because I have one son with him. My son will suicide if his dad goes in jail he said. I just cry every day and want to die, when i look at my daughter like that. She is very very painful. What i have to do? tell me please

  39. I have been crying almost every day for almost 5 years. Its no way to live. I have seen therapist, been baker acted etc.
Seen too much, raped, molested, saved another girl from being raped, 2 abusive husbands. Etc. I want to legally do this and I want help to do it so someone can hold my hand and comfort me.
    It affects adults too
    I can't even work.

  40. I certainly regret that she was a victim and that ultimately she was not a survivor of the crime she suffered.. I do believe in the supreme value of life, but I always believe very strongly in personal liberty. The way I thread this needle in my mind is that there should be a waiting period requirement to regularly get [periodic] treatment (talk and medication) forf a year or maybe two (this option would not kick in until age 18) (and as a person gets older and knows himself or herself more and has less time to forfeit gradually reduce the wait time). Make it a free service paid for by taxes – a slight sales tax at the state level or a tiny excise at the federal level would cover it for pennies. That way, those who need to die can do so without trauma and injury and horribly failed attempts, but those who just need to help to live and thrive will no be lost with them. 9-6-18

  41. People who were abused need people to tell them they have worth, and that they wanted… not someone to agree there’s no point in living.
So sad and terrible that she was told she had no hope and then killed. 🙁

  42. I wish there was a way to block her memory of this whatever happened to her. It had to be horrific.. Then lots of love. A new start. Just so sad.

  43. I think if your life is truly unbearable and you cant live on you should be allowed to end your life. Of course with someone elses signed permission along with a week to make a final decision, as well as being an appropriate age, it should be okay to do this. People shouldnt have to suffer and make their families suffer in their sudden death, give them time to say goodbyes and give them their best moments before passing.

  44. wHY NOT TALKING ABOUT BEING RAPED VEVERY DAY!? ABUSE IS A EUFENISM USED BY THE ELITE BECAUSE IT SOUND LESS HARMFULL!
i PREFER: TORTURE , VIOLENCE AND RAPE! oTHER WORDS ARE ONLY USED BY MOTHERFUCKERS WHO DID OR DREAM TO DO THE SAME SHIT, MOSTLY THEY DON'T KNOW THAT THEY WANT TO DO IT!

RAPE AND TORTURE VICTIMS ARE NOT ALLOWED TO EVEN TALK ABOUT REVENGE! OR TO REALY SHOW THEIR RAGE!
A.ON (SUNDAY) SCHOOL THEY TEACH ONLY FORGIVENESS tHEY WERE TOLD THAT RAGE, REVENGE MENAS YOU JOIN THE MOTHERFUCKER IN HELL!
cOMBINED WITH STOCKHOL SYNDROME IS YOU HAVETHE RECIPE FOR DESTRING YOURSELF!

iNSTEAD TALKING ABOUT ASSISTED SUICIDE; TALK ABOUT CULTURAL/POLITICAL/RELIGIOUS, AND ECONOMICAL HOMICIDE!

THE MOTHERFOCKERS KILLED THIS GIRL! THIS GIRL DID NOT KILL HERSELF! THE MOTHERFUCKER WHO RAPED HER AND HIS CULTURE DID THE KILL!,

ITS MORE A SOCRATES STYLE HOMICIDE!,

  45. These physicians need more life experiences…before dealing with patients. From personal experience, from a brutal rape, beating, strangulation, and mutilation with a knife at the age of ten, and left for dead, I know how difficult it is. The only way I made it, and was able to continue on with my life, was to block out the entire event. The only draw back, is you forget everything …and risk encountering your attacker again without ever knowing it….People can block things out, until their ready to deal with it, like when their older…

  46. My understanding from s documentary is that it is 3 GP'S who have to say yes. There is no requirement for any kind of psychiatrist to be involved in the decision making process. A husband, wife, parent can go and request this without their family even being notified until it is done. One woman had lost her daughter and was euthanized 3 months later because of the grief. No previous mental health issues. There should have been a full effort to try every other option first. Don't get me wrong, as a sex abuse victim I do understand, and I do support euthanasia choice. It just needs to be a more involved process s o that it's not a permanent answer to a temporary problem. A genuine effort at therapy needs to be done first.

  47. let me guess the perpetraitor got away with it Scott free and was likely never even considered a suspect and just merrily carries on his/her life like none of his cruelty ever happened while she lays underground in a cemetary somewhere with her body slowly decaying in death kind of like how her soul was decaying slowly in life. Scumbag should had been the one suffering not her.

  48. this really upsets me 🙁 a girls mentally and physically damaged after 10 years of abuse and SHE'S the one who ends up dead and not the piece of shit who did it? so sad. I would have at least held out until I was sure I got justice before death if the courts don't have enough evidence or can't prosecute then hire somebody if you have to to find him. Everyone knows someone who knows someone else who's brothers with someone else who enjoys shooting out sex offenders kneecaps for a price you know? *wink wink*. At least she could had died with a sense of justice having been done.

  49. "There is hope"! … Who has the hope? Only the affected person can decide this. If society cares that humans should not be subjected to avoidable pain (emotional or physical), pain that is unbearable to that person despite reasonable reduction attempts, then the society should allow that person a way out. The only exclusions: possibly someone declared insane. Intensely depressed people who are chronically affected, despite treatment attempts, are not insane, If their wish is to exit this physical world, then society should be willing to help.

  50. If hypnotists can make you forget about everything that happened after being hypnotized, just by snapping their fingers, why can't they make trauma victims like this forget the memory of the trauma? Of course they can, but they don't want to, for some reason.

  51. This is fabulous news!

One step closer to the legal murder of other humans!!

It's going to be a fantastic day when it comes…so many of you are just so worthless, it would be an honor to do the gene pool a favor.

  52. I remember the scene in "godfather" where a father asks to Don Corleone to beat the crap out of the raper of her daughter.

  53. I wish the host would understand that not all mental conditions are curable. And with that said, if there was a cure for her in 30 years, should she have suffered another 3 decades in hope for this cure? It’s not a matter of just seeking some therapy. 🤷‍♀️

  54. Poor baby…I wish that was me…I wish Euthanasia was legal here…I'm so tired of battling this darkness sadness and PTSD Depression. ..😥😣

  55. Imagine all the people that have been Drafted to war against their will, killed and traumatized, so why should suicide be illegal?

  56. The reason suicide is illegal in America and a lot of other countries is not because the government cares they just want your tax money

  57. Being raped for ten years, imagine the suffering. This person is just a husk, everyday reliving the same thing over and over again. I’m glad she’s in a better place, nobody deserves that much horror in one life.
