New York. We are four colleges and one University. The College of Medicine. The
College of Nursing. The College of Health Professions, and the College of Graduate
Studies. Together we prepare the next generation of clinicians, physician-
scientists, and researchers. The Upstate University Health System serves 1.8
million people over 17 counties. It is anchored in Syracuse by the University
Hospital downtown and Community campuses, and includes numerous satellite sites
stretching from the Canadian border to the Pennsylvania border. We provide the
region’s only level one trauma center, a poison control center,
an award-winning Cancer Center, and the Golisano Children’s Hospital; the area’s

to 10,000 employees and home to cutting-edge research and technology
with scientists and experts from around the globe. Our mission is to improve the
health of the communities we serve, through education, biomedical research,
