The goal of Burke Rehab’s Occupational Therapy
Program is to assist patients and caregivers in learning how to do familiar tasks in a
new way and to make the transition to home and the community as smooth as possible. Occupational
therapists help patients become as independent as possible in their daily activities, including
dressing, bathing, personal hygiene, feeding, getting around in the home and community,
and pursuing household, work-related or leisure activities. Burke Rehabilitation Hospital
is located in White Plains, New York. To learn more, go to Burke.org.
