New AHN Cancer Institute at Saint Vincent Hospital to open to public next week


CANCER PATIENTS AROUND THE ERIE REGION WILL NOW BE ABLE TO GET CARE FROM THE ALLEGHENY HEALTH NETWORK CANCER INSTITUTE AT SAINT VINCENT HOSPITAL. AFTER MORE THAN A YEAR OF CONSTRUCTION… THE 25 MILLION DOLLAR CANCER TREATMENT FACILITY IS NOW UP AND RUNNING. SOMETIME NEXT WEEK… PATIENTS WILL BE ABLE TO RECEIVE CARE AT THE NEW FACILITY. THE CANCER INSTITUTE IS LOCATED ON MRYTLE STREET ADJACENT TO THE MAIN HOSPITAL.THE INSTITUTE IS A PART OF A 300 MILLION DOLLAR COMMITMENT BY HIGHMARK HEALTH TO ENHANCE AND EXPAND CANCER TREATMENT OPTIONS FOR PATIENTS ACROSS WESTERN PENNSYLVANIA.
