Shure has made some very innovative system integration products in recent years such as the Shure MXA910 Ceiling Array. This is mainly used in video conferencing but there are also many other possibilities with this product. For example, here in The Radboudumc University Medical Centre. We are in the ER department of The Radboudumc. We treat many patients here. The procedures are generally carried out by a large team of health professionals. We needed to decrease the amount of people inside the rooms. and hear the sound inside the room just as if they were there. For this, we chose the MXA910. In case of an emergency… nursing staff must quickly go and support the surgeons at short notice. We wouldn’t have been able to do this had we decided to go for the conventional wireless systems That would have not been possible. As they have to go to the ER quickly… with the MXA910, everything is always ready. It’s a matter of pushing a button and the system works. For us it could not have been much easier than that. To make the transition of the new system easy on everyone, we first did a demo together with Shure. The staff members involved were immediately enthusiastic about the transition. Ceiling tiles are not the first thing you think about when you require good audio. We are very satisfied with the sound. It is initiutive and clear, we hardly hear any background noise. These ceiling tiles have given us a fantastic solution for our ER department It does not hinder us in any way and delivers exceptional quality sound. I would definitely recommend it. In short, Shure MXA910 is not only suited for meeting rooms. But it is also suitable for hospitals such as the ER department.
