They’re helping me by evaluating me, getting ready to go on job interviews, doing resumes. We assist clients and helping them
obtain and maintain employment. We offer interview skills training. We do mock
interviews We help them so that they can be
successful in the interview. It’s like I have more self-esteem. I can do certain things I want to do. Right now, I have a little bit of money
and I can go and buy things. I can help out with my sister on
the bills and everything. It just makes me feel better that I
can do that and when you’re not making anything,
your self esteem goes way down, you feel useless, like
you’re worth nothing… I know, I’ve been there and done it. And I like being able to where I can
function better. You just feel better about yourself when
you do this. He has developed the confidence and
self-esteem and is ready to get out there and go to
work. He is a very big success story. AbilityWorks is a good program. They help you out, help you find a job and help you learn more skills about work. I think AbilityWorks is a good program. It teaches me training in different areas, teaches me how to work on my behavior, anything, getting ready for a
job interview, sources like that. If anybody has any disabilities and want to come learn how to do different things, this is a nice program to try out. Did you know that for every state dollar
invested in an MDRS client, an estimated additional six
dollars is returned to the state in the form of
