I knew in high school that I wanted to get into the medical field after taking anatomy and other science classes I became interested. I went to Simpson College for my undergrad and majored in biology. I graduated there I worked for six months as a CNA and then found out that I got into PA school. I went to St. Ambrose University for my masters and physician assistant and that is a 14 month didactic, followed by 15 months of clinical rotations. As a physician assistant We have a supervising physician, but we’re still able to see our own patients. I’m a family practice provider at the Urbandale clinic. I see a wide variety of patients from young to old with Many different conditions, anywhere from a cough or cold to an annual exam. I chose family medicine because it Provides a wide variety of patients and allows me to utilize all the skills I learned in school. In my free time I like to do scrapbooking, cooking, And taking walks outside. I’m Natalie and the Point of Unity is you.
