My name is Caitlin Conrad. I am a physician assistant in pulmonary and sleep medicine at The Oregon Clinic. My role as a physician assistant in pulmonary and sleep medicine is primarily to see patients with COPD, asthma, cough, and shortness of breath. I also see sleep apnea, insomnia, and excessive daytime sleepiness. I am the clinical coordinator for lung cancer screening as well. I went to Gonzaga University for my bachelor’s degree and then to University of Iowa for PA school. I try to provide a safe and comfortable environment for my patients by simply listening to them. I strive to empower my patients to actively participate in their treatment plan as well. I would probably be an architect because of my love for mathematics and drawing. I enjoy most outdoor activities, including camping, hiking, skiing, playing soccer and tennis. I also really like to draw and of course I love to visit my family in Bend. I really love Portland because of its friendly people and the numerous outdoor activities in our backyard, and of course the restaurant scene. I prefer the mountains. I love skiing and hiking, and I grew up in Central Oregon near the cascades, so it really is just my comfort zone.
