Marlene Maron, PhD, Psychologist – Burlington, VT, UVM Medical Center

My name is Dr. Marlene Maron and I am a
clinical psychologist. Mostly that anything is possible. You know, some people come
because they want to make a change. Other people come because
they want to understand themselves better. Some people come
because they’re in great distress, and other people come because they have a
specific symptom that’s really troubling them. Regardless of what brings you
into the therapy space, the goal is really self-acceptance, understanding
and growth. Every day, I get to see the resilience,
the amazing resilience of the human spirit. I see people who have been through things that are very difficult to
imagine and I watch them not only move through it but also thrive.
I see people find meaning and joy in places where I might not expect them to
be found and I see people truly discover strengths that they may not have known
they had and that is an honor and a privilege to witness.

  1. I was forced to see her when I was a kid, because of my depression and anger from all my chronic health issues. Such a waste of time and money. Forcing kids to attend therapy is just wrong.
