Marina Del Rey Hospital – Dr. Drayton Graham

I’m Drayton Graham!
I’m a graduate of Harvard Medical School. I’ve been in the, affiliate with this hospital since 1979. I’m a board-certified
internist and pulmonologists. You know, I think I pride myself
as being kind of very up-to-date state-of-the-art kind of doctor,
but I think the thing that I enjoy most is kind of the old-fashioned approach
in terms of spending a little bit more time with patients than is popular
and probably in a way that’s probably inconvenient,
making myself and my practice more accessible to my, to patients in comparison
to what I think is the current trend, so actually I think
that old fashion aspect of it is, is what I I like a lot. I would say
what makes this hospital different is the, it’s the size and the people. This hospital is located in a place
where it has state-of-the-art equipment, state-of-the-art doctors, but it’s small and so I think the the smallness of it
lends kind of a family like atmosphere, but it’s not like
some small hospital out in the sticks, full of people who don’t know
what they’re doing. I think you got a lot of good people, but you have
the advantage of a small size which makes it
kind of a nice place to work and a nice place to
actually be a patient. My family members have actually,
over the years, from time to time, come here for various illnesses and procedures. And just it’s a nice cozy place,
but state-of-the-art.
