Hello, I’m Jackie Fisher. I am a board-certified physician assistant working in the Marshalltown office in Family Medicine since 2018. I chose Family Medicine because I like to see a variety of people and patients every day, a variety of diagnoses, and I like to treat the whole person Whether it’s preventative care, well visits, prescription refills, I just like to see anything all day. I offer preventative care, well visits, women’s health care visits. Pediatric, geriatric, all ages. Or sick visits. When a patient comes to see me, they should expect to feel respected and listened to and have a say in their plan of care. The most rewarding thing about Family Medicine is the education piece. I get to teach people about their health, teach people how to live a healthier lifestyle and about conditions that they may have so that they can better understand how to take care of themselves. I think Extraordinary Care means going above and beyond to make the patient feel like they were taken care of and that we have met their needs when they come to see us McFarland Clinic. When I’m not working I like to express myself in the kitchen, creating dinners and meal plans for my loved ones.
