Free Medical Clinics: UNR Med Student Outreach Clinic

Since 1996, students from the University of
Nevada, Reno School of Medicine have been providing free medical clinics for the uninsured
and underinsured of northern Nevada. Under the supervision of licensed physicians,
the Student Outreach Clinic provides various medical services for free during general,
comprehensive clinics, pediatrics clinics, women’s clinics, as well as geriatric and
dermatology clinics. We offer a variety of services including:
Physical exams, screenings, diagnosis, lab services requested by SOC physicians, immunizations, sick child visits and child well checks, x-rays, EKGs, blood pressure
and diabetes monitoring, some treatments and referrals. All of which are free. Spanish interpreters are available at every
clinic. All clinics are on a first-come, first-serve
basis. Clinics are held at the Family Medicine
