EARLIER THIS AFTERNOON A JURY RULED IN HER FROM SEVERAL COWORKERS IN THE MIC-U LIFE THEEATENING PATIENT TREATMENT AND CONDITIONS IN THE MEDICAL INTENSIVE CARE UNIT. HARRIS CLAIMS COWORKERS REFUSED TO FOLLOW HER DIRECTIONS AND WOULD REFUSE TO HELP HER PATIENTS IN CRITICAL DISTRESS. AND 3.2 MILLION IN PUNITIVE DAMAGES.   1. Good for her!! Too many of us nurses experience management ignoring our coming forth with illegal/unsafe practice, etc. Sadly, the nurse has little to no backing from other staff. I hate being a nurse now. Years ago, we were expected to be diligent, with integrity, honest, etc. Now it is…..just get the documentation done make it all look good. Don't complain about things management is never going to fix.
