Denver’s New Job: Animal Therapy at C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital (Paws4Patients)

>>So I got this new gig. I’m pretty excited about it. I work with superheroes. No. I mean literally. My job is to hang out with
these amazing kids all day. I’ve got to sit through meetings
now and then, but it’s not so bad. My meals are included so that’s a perk. Plus there’s this girl that works here. That’s my best friend Anna. She is so awesome. I work with some of the best in the business. I’m making lots of friends and
the benefits are pretty sweet. I mean, I’m never going to
turn down a belly rub, and who doesn’t want to be
treated like a celebrity? Oh. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah [laughing]. But I’ve got to tell you the reason
I keep coming back is the kids. I don’t want to brag, but
I kind of make their day. Sometimes the look on a kid’s
face when I enter the room. Sometimes it’s the way they relax and
you can feel their tension melt away. Sometimes you can see I remind
them of someone from home. I haven’t been here long but
I can tell these kids need me. So don’t tell my boss because he
thinks he needs to keep me happy. But there’s no place I’d rather be. Hail, Little Victors. Hail. [ Music ]
