Can The Doctors Save Aaron Carter’s Alcoholic Mom Jane?

– We develop personal
relationships with our guests. It’s been more personal, I would say, with Aaron than any other
guest we’ve had on this show in the history, we’ve
done almost 2,000 shows. – Wow. – And I was thinking about this today when I knew Aaron was coming, it’s been two years. – Yeah. – Since he was last on the show. – Right. – And it feels like yesterday,
but it has it’s been 2 years, and you all may be wondering
how is he doing today. Well in a Doctor’s exclusive we sat down with him to find out. – So my experience with the
Doctor’s was very scary. I don’t look like I’m dying do I? I don’t look like I have
like, HIV or AIDS do I? I was in a really terrible place. I was abusing medications. I was in a toxic relationship. I was in complete denial. I was so in to the
addiction I was just like, I’m just gonna let myself die. How do I keep going? I don’t know. It just came out of nowhere. – Proud of you, man. – Thanks man. I was like, the (censored)
are these people doing here? (dramatic music) They genuinely want to save me. So now, I still struggle. But, I wake up every morning. I’m creative and I’m starting to get acclimated to my medications, gained 45 pounds. I manage my career. I negotiate my contracts. That’s what it’s like for me being sober. I love you guys. You guys are more of a family
for me than anybody else. The Doctor’s saved me, man. I’m talking all you guys. Everybody, all of you guys. They saved my life, man. I’m not kidding. (dramatic music) – It may sound like life is
on the upswing for Aaron, but he’s been dealing
with a family crisis, he reached out to us for help, take a look. – With this newfound clarity that I have, I would like to help my mom. My mother is struggling. She’s a very bad alcoholic. Alcohol is her best friend. She’s been drinking for about
17 years straight, every day. Her drinking is 5 a.m. in
the morning, she wakes up, she drinks a whole bottle of vodka. I’m the only one that goes
down there and visits my mom. And I see her in the craziest, most toxic, unhealthy place in the world. Erratic behavior detrimental
to the people around her. Like her granddaughter. And she’s ruined all of her relationships. She came to my house three months ago, and I don’t even drink alcohol. This thing was full. When my mom came here it disappeared. And guess what mom? You keep doing what you’re doing, that’s what you’re gonna
end up looking like. A skull. You’re gonna die. How ironic. This is her drug of choice. She says “I’m not a drug addict.” If you drink everyday, you’re a drug addict. They’re one in the same. The Doctor’s, you guys saved my life, man. I want that for my mom. It’s only gonna work with you guys. And it might not even work. And then that’s when I have
to make the decision of, I can’t have you in my life anymore.

  1. I’m going to say this from personal experience, Aaron’s mom Is only going to do this if she WANTS to stop drinking. I personally watched my mother and her family die from drinking.
I wish Aaron and his family nothing but the best

  2. He's right no matter how old your kids are if they grew up watching you with a habit they are going to have one too. It's sad to watch glad he is wanting to do better and still help her because it will help him.

  3. If Aaron doesn't drink, whyis there a skull bottle of booze in his house. Full or not, why have it? Just so your mom can find it & drink half the bottle while she's there?

  4. Lets assume she dont drink after 5 a.m after fineshinh vodka bottle, fine ok. Waking up at 5 in the morning and fineshes the bottle of vodka, and repeating it for 27 years and your saying shes still alive? If its true its aint worth drinking if alcoholic can do this for 27 yrs?

  5. Best decision he could make to help himself is by staying clear of her…She is the most toxic for him out of anyone. My mother was just like her, now she is dead.

  6. I don't understand how he continues to lie to himself over and over digging deeper and deeper. He's the furthest thing from sober. He is continually preaching to people and deflecting what's really going on. He uses all the key words to make people think he's doing the right things.

  7. if you all stop at 2:21… you can see smoke… he's smoking cig or weed. He's not 100% clean or sober and he's holding lighter at 2:50

  8. When his mom gets out of rehab, he will get in a fight with her about him being the only one who cares about her.
