Angel’s Earwax Removal | Auburn Medical Group

Jumping back into cleaning out your ears, Angel. “Angel, yea” Because we had to use a lot of irrigation and we still couldn’t make much progress.
We didn’t want to use any instruments because you have very tight (ear) canals and it was really tender.
How does it feel now after using some drops? “It’s ok. I’ve been using the drops.” Alright, that’s what it looks like. We really like to just get a plain old syringe and a little what they call a scalp vein set,
a 21 gauge needle which is small but we’re not actually using the needle, we’re just using where the hub attaches. Then we have a little length of the silatic tubing. Here we go! Is it too hot? Too hard? “No” Take a look at what we have already there. Look at that, that is grabbable. See how I’m going in above and below the wax and trying to grab it but it’s coming apart. There’s one part of it as you can see there’s still
some in there though. “Oh my gosh!” “Lord have mercy!” Do you want to take it home? “No! I dont want to take it home!” You sound like you have strong feelings about it. Ok lets get in close and we will get another piece out there. Little bit more to go there. “Wow! Oh my goodness, I’m amazed!” There’s more! But wait, there’s more! You also get…. well…. its just more of the same….. But some of it came off in the canal there. It’s stuck on the end there. I have to….. …..grab it inside and pull it out Now your relative, who is a friend of old to me, is he going to see this video? “Is he what?” Is he going to see this video? “Yeah” “Of course he will, my daughter too, everybody is looking forward to seeing my video.” Should I say hi to him? “Yea if it will be on youtube.” Hi Brad! This is good. Oh yea….. oh it broke, I’m sorry. I like it when it all comes out at once. “Yea me too, that’s exciting.” See, you’re just the type of
person who watches this channel. Now there is wax on this front part here, but I’m leaving that alone. because your canal already has some abrasions on it
just from what we’ve done and I don’t wanna hurt it. Does it hurt at all? “No not at all it didn’t hurt at all.” Can you tell a difference in hearing? “I can hear out of it yea.
I haven’t been able to hear nothing
out of there for a long time.” Look over here and tell everybody… ….well…. give some kind of a sign-off. “It’s a wonderful day today in Auburn
with my wonderful friend I’ve known for like ten years and he is my hero.” You’re the weather lady “I’m the weather lady.” It’s a wonderful day in Auburn. “Well thank you very much Dr” You’re very welcome. And thank you for joining us if you enjoy

  1. that was great how all that wax was removed!! I only had a small amount of wax in my ear (nothing like that lady had)and I couldn't here right. It's wonder she could hear at all.

  2. really liked this Im taking my boy for the first time to have his ears suctioned,by a professional. hes 6, and he has never shed wax in his life

  3. this is a prime example why people would not use q-tips down deep into their ears. I don't know if that was the case here, because it certainly does not only happen because of q-tips, however, q-tips can certainly can certainly be a guilty culprit of impacted ear wax, especially in children. Thankfully this woman didn't have any pain and went to the doctr as soon as she realized she had a problem.

  4. is it correct to say that older people have a problem with this sort of extreme wax build-up more than younger people? if so, why is this?

  5. Wow, Angel had a lot of wax in her ear!!! Beautiful job of removing most of it and I'm very pleased that you left that other bit of wax in there because you didn't want to cause any more abrasions to her ear canal. You are a very caring doctor and you explain everything as you go along. Thanks for uploading this video. As usual, Greetings from Wales ๐Ÿ˜ƒ

  6. Hi, I've been having a problem with my ear since October and I hear like a static a while back it was leaking I'm afraid if I got to the doctor I will have surgery. What should I do would every doctor do this to clear the ear or is it certain places?

  7. Oh she is such a sweet lady. I love watching ear wax removal videos. So refreshing when it us all out and clean!

  8. I have to admit that I did not like you at first. I don't know why I felt that way, however after seeing your rapport with your patients, I have changed my mind. I really enjoy your videos. Keep it up. ๐Ÿ˜Œ๐Ÿ˜Š

  9. How come is not beneficial to perform so much irrigation? Doesnt the tools reaching inside the ear damages the ear canal as well?

  10. I wish my ear would fill with wax and I wake up at this place and get it removed. The satisfaction would be amazing ๐Ÿ™ˆ

  11. Good Evening Doctor and staff.. commenting here to thank you for showing me that cutting 21G Butterfly tubing trick.. Ive literally been watching your videos thinking that was some sort of super secret ENT Syringe with a fixed tip.. that's absolutely genius.. it also appears that your pulsating with the irrigation.. The only thing I didn't see was your recommended ratio for peroxide/ warm water.

  12. Hi I wish more Dr's were like you. Patients would have more confidence and would be able to talk to them with more ease. Brilliant videos thanks ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ˜€

  17. I live in the SF area but my grandma is in Lincoln and I have an uncle in Colfax. Next time I visit I kind of want you to check my ears, lol!

  19. I enjoyed the Dr. and patient relationship. It's nice when you have such confidence in the Dr. Great job.

  20. Huh. Eardrums are semitransparent. Who knew.

Aaaaaand now my ears itch even more. I probably should go get them cleaned…

  21. My 3 year old niece decided it would be funny to spray me in the face with the water hose; I turned my head and my ears ended up being flooded. I used a nasal aspirator to get the water out and out comes this giant ball of icky wax. I paid $200 for a 5 min visit just to have the doctor look in my ear and tell me to pour peroxide and water in my ear.

  22. Can someone give me an idea i you think video's are being taken. PLEASE I DON'T mean the Auburn Medical Group is doing it. I found a Dr. Jasky who has put up a lot of of videos of ear wax removal by him. He doesn't have his video's fixed so a person can make comment. Is there a way for me to add a comment . Also the round circle is very big but the top part is cut off but if you look close something has been place all across video. One more think I believe the picture of him is copied and pasted into. If anyone has time to check this out and just let me know what you thin.
